Markus Krötzsch

Markus Krötzsch is a researcher at AIFB where he is also working on his PhD thesis. He received his Master of Science at the International Center for Computational Logic at Dresden University of technology in 2005. His research is focused on knowledge representation on the Semantic Web, its practical applications, and its algorithmic and logical foundations. He is the lead developer of the highly successful Semantic Web application platform Semantic MediaWiki, and chief maintainer of the semanticweb.org community portal. Before his work on OWL 2, he participated in the W3C Rule Interchange Format (RIF) working group.
